Home Care Services
Since our caregivers maintain close and frequent contact with clients, their observations are an important part of fulfilling the care plan. Our total service package consists of the following:Personal Care:
- Bathing: sponge baths or showers.
- Hair Washing: shampoo, brush and comb
- Skin Care: assistance in appling lotions and ointments.
- Oral Hygiene: tooth brushing, clean dentures.
- Shaving
- Dressing: assistance in dressing.
- Feeding: assistance in feeding.
- Walking: assistance with canes or walkers.
- Transferring: using body mechanic techniques, bed to wheelchair, commode, toilet, car.
- Body Check: check for bruises, redness and bedsores.
- Hoyer Lift
- Toileting: assistance in bathroom.
- Incontinent Care
- Catheter Care: empty bags.
- Colostomy/Ileostomy Care: empty and clean bags.
- N/G Tube Feeding
- Diapers: change daipers as necessary.
- Repositioning
- Range of motion (exercise)
- Taking vital signs as required.
- Monitor medication, blood sugar monitoring for diabetic clients.
Light Housekeeping:
- Meal Preparation
- Cooking
- Dusting
- Bedmaking
- Vacuuming floors
- Laundry Services
- Dish washing
- Emptying trash bins
- Cleaning kitchen and bathroom countertops.
- Cleaning bathtubs, showers and toilet bowls.
- Mopping kitchen and bathroom floors.
- Cleaning exterior surfaces of refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers and dryers.
Other Chores:
- Making appointments and taking clients to Doctors appointments, dialysis, physical therapist, salon/barber shop, family gatherings.
- Assisting clients with paperwork or organizing records.
